are less hungry in the world in 2010: FAO
Tuesday September 14, 2010
Deutsche Welle
According to the news the overall number of hungry people fell from more than one billion to 925 million in 2010.
What I do not block, is the following statement:
countries in developing rate reaches hungry people by 16% population, a percentage much higher than the target of 10% mentioned in the so-called Millennium Development Goals.
According to figures from the government of Mexico, the number of poor in Mexico increased. A couple of months the Secretariat of Finance announced that nearly 6 million Mexicans have moved to the subset of the poor [1]. However, agree on the number who are hungry poor as well, which in Mexico are about-in the same secretariat, just over 16% of the population.
