Nietzsche ... death of hypocrisy

The October 15, 1844 born in Germany one of the most controversial philosophers of the twentieth century: Friedrich Nietzsche .

scholar and teacher of philology, his ideas changed dramatically along its course to the point of annoyance, now praised the music, now the deplorable speech attacking now ontological, now elaborated own. While still a young man wrote on two divergent ethical currents represented with the Greek gods Apollo and Dionysus, the first to embrace the splendor, order and reason and the second for the darkness, chaos and deformity. Germany says the teacher that civilizations have deteriorated to the point of embracing aspects of Apollonian and Dionysian condemn, though, all views, both virtues and vices nesting individuals.

ideas His thinking exposes the irrationality of existence, the pain as a result of it and a special aversion, under the assumption that they undermine the momentum that leads man to transcendent achievements to classical philosophy and religion. Irrationality explains the inability of reason to grab the relentless chaos and rife variation in reality. In this way, rationality becomes an unfounded belief.

Ser (as a verb) is not for the philologist or a goal or a destination [1].

Discover the will as a complex set of internal forces, and therefore uncontrollable, whose exterior is the result which we consider error will real [3]. In this way the consensus of will becomes a mere illusion.

His philosophy violates traditional moral values, says that an individual reaches the sphere of what he called Übermensch (superman), when managed to escape from the suffocating embrace of collective moral ( "slave morality") and founded his own ethics, intimate farm in a genuine discernment of good (the essence of what he called willpower [2]). Superman runs, according to Nietzsche, in a natural and genuine state resists the artificiality the moral obligations of society. The ring in his philosophy will, in addition to its inherent elements as awareness, identifies and intensifies a free moral species concept of sin. That reluctance to external constraints became his opposition to religion, also believes that a brake on the potential hidden in the depths of men and causing a malignant conformity.

was almost blind when in 1889 he suffered a severe nervous breakdown that led to placement in a nursing home, this crisis never fully recover. He died of pneumonia in 1900.

His mind is heavy and intricate, so it is impossible to summarize in a few lines, but I did not want to pass unnoticed the anniversary of his birth. For the self-taught reader, here a link on Wikipedia that shows a long list of his works:
